Tyres feel flat but there is no valve to pump them up
After a few years the tyres feel soft and start squeaking, and owners go looking for a valve to inflate them.
Likely fix: There is nothing to inflate. These tyres are foam or EVA filled rather than air, so there is no valve stem, and the foam compresses permanently under load. A bike shop confirmed for one owner that the bearings were fine and it was purely the tyres. Replacement wheels are the only route, so do not waste time hunting for a pump or misdiagnosing it as a bearing.
Front wheel tightens itself until it locks solid
On the four-nut fork axle, the inner nut walks along the thread as the wheel spins until it jams the wheel completely.
Likely fix: Threadlock the inner nut. Blue Loctite if you may want to dismantle it again later, red if you want it permanent. Apply to the inner nut, then the fork, then the outer nut. Several owners confirm this stops it recurring.
SAFETY: brake only locks one wheel
The most reported Baby Jogger fault. The brake bar pushes a metal pin into each rear hub, and one pin stops travelling far enough to engage, so the buggy still rolls with the brake apparently on.
Likely fix: Often fixable at home since grit jams the pin. Turn the buggy over, take the rear wheels off, clean the pin bores and lubricate the pins. If a pin is bent or the brake bar is worn the assembly needs replacing, and with no UK online spares that means contacting Baby Jogger consumer care.
SAFETY: brake locks on and will not release
